General Rope Bondage Safety Issues
- Make sure you can get your bottom out of bondage fast. Using shorter ropes or quick release knots helps, you also need to have safety scissors around.
- Never leave the bottom is alone when she/he is tied or gagged.
- Do not to cause too much strain on joints – wrists, elbows, lower back, knees, hips.
- Watch out for constriction of nerves and blood vessels. Be alert and communicate with the botom. Look for tingling, numbness, abnormal color, coldness in extremities. Check sides and undersides of tied wrists, above and below tied elbows, tied armpits, or arms compressed against body and groin.
- Distribute pressure using multiple coils.
- Make sure can fit one finger between bonds and skin. Also remember that body parts may swell.
- NEVER tie rope around the neck!
- Rope can be cause burns by coarseness of the rope, speed of application (or taking it off) or tightness.
Remember that removing rope is also part of the game and is just as much fun as putting it on.
